Check out what promoters and fans have been
saying about Foreigner’s recent performances:
LAS VEGAS, BOULDER STATION CASINO, 3/11/05, Vice President of Entertainment,
Station Casinos, Inc., Judy Alberta
“I cannot tell you what a pleasure it was to host the recent
Foreigner performance at Station Casinos. The show sold out far in advance,
even precluding the need for a radio buy.
The show was UNBELIEVABLE. Mick Jones, Jason Bonham, Kelly Hansen and
all of the guys were fabulous. The performance was so "dead on"
that you could close your eyes and be easily confused as to whether
it was 1985 or 2005.
I can't thank you enough for allowing us to present Foreigner in Las
Vegas, and I look forward to the pleasure of a return engagement.”
SANTA ROSA, CA, LUTHER BURBANK CENTER FOR THE PA, 6/23/05: Promoter,
Rick Bartalini"
“A terrific high-energy show with hit, after hit, after hit.
One of the best sounding shows this year. The fans loved it and were
out of their seats dancing and singing all night. A pleasure to work
with the entire band and crew. They really drove home the endless number
of hits. Thank you for the opportunity. Let's do it again!”
“I don’t want to single out Kelly (lead vocals), but HIS
VOCALS WERE INCREDIBLY STRONG. They were all very engaging with the
audience which created a great vibe. It was fun and they loved the
theater, the backstage and felt really taken care of.”
LIVERMORE, CA, WENTE VINYARD, 6/22/05- Wente Concert fan: Beth Bates
“I hope this message makes it to someone at Wente regarding next
year’s concert line up. I have attended a great deal of concerts
over the last several years and I can't tell you how AMAZING the show
was last night!! Chris Issac was always the best in my eyes at your
venue, however last night's Foreigner show blew him out of the water.
They were better than the first time I saw them in the 80's!! Please
bring Foreigner back again next summer!”
LIVERMORE, CA, WENTE VINYARD, 6/22/05- Retail Marketing Manager , Nancy
Mueller @ Wente Vineyards
“Just wanted to pass on to you, to pass on to others, that Foreigner
(as corny as this may sound) ROCKED! We all felt it was one of the best
shows we have had. I was with a group of friends at the show (a bunch
of old rockers) and we were blown away, Kelly's voice was right on the
money, the band was just incredible, and we knew all the words to every
song! And a big apology for every rural venue's nemesis...the septic
system (mechanical difficulties). I heard that you likewise had a great
evening with us, thanks for stopping by.”
LIVERMORE, CA, WENTE VINYARD, 6/22/05-Customer, Mark Mason
“Great concert - I think the best over the past 2 years. Had
everyone rockin. Hope they make it back next year.”
DEL MAR, CA, DEL MAR FAIR, 6/21/05: Production Manager, Joe Hankard
“I am the production manager at the Del Mar Fairgrounds where
your act, Foreigner just performed. I have to tell you that it was a
very successful and totally enjoyable day. I have been at this for too
many years; as a matter of fact I went to college with Guy Richards
and he’s ancient.
From the moment the crew arrived and throughout the day until the last
vehicle left my backstage it was a joy. The crowd was considerably larger
than my normal Tuesday show and everyone was thrilled with the performance.
From the board of directors to the folks on the fifth level in the back,
they were all on their feet for the entire show. I am more than a bit
of a cynic and even I was hoarse from hollering. The show was great
and band and crew alike were a pleasure to work with. If ever you need
a recommendation for any fair venue please call me.”
