DAN BAKKEDAHL recently began production on his first lead role in a studio feature as 'Mark' in "Observe and Report." Jody Hill is directing Dan opposite Seth Rogen and Ray Liotta for Warner Bros., as Dan plays a Mall Manager trying to contain the vigorous yet ineffective antics of his security guard underling (Rogen). Prior to that, Dan was a Senior Correspondent on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. He has also recently appeared on "Law & Order," "30 Rock," "The Flight of the Conchords" and "The Return of Jezebel James." He will soon be seen in the independent feature, "Welcome To Academia," as 'Prof. Valentine,' an unscrupulous professor out only to gratify himself -- even at the expense of his institution and his integrity. Prior to his work on The Daily Show, Dan was a very active member of the bustling improv/sketch community in Chicago. While in the Windy City, Dan played and taught for local legends, The Second City and iO (formerly Improv Olympic). Dan now resides in Los Angeles with his wife, Irene, and his newborn, Anastacia.
