Grammy and five-time Latin Grammy recipient JUAN LUIS GUERRA is one of the most internationally-recognized Latin music stars.  He is known worldwide for reaching mass audiences with his infectious fusion-laced renditions of merengue and bachata, delivered by one of the best live bands in the Spanish speaking world.  Over the course of 25 years he has sold over 8 million albums, filled stadiums and coliseums across America and Europe, and  amassed an impressive arsenal of awards.  Influenced by The Beatles, and educated at the Berklee College of Music, GUERRA has performed with such diverse music giants as The Rolling Stones, Sting, and The New York Philharmonic.  In 2006 GUERRA recorded a duet with Mana, "Bendita La Luz", which occupied the #1 slot for several weeks on the Billboard Latin Chart.  GUERRA is currently promoting his new album, "La Llave de Mi Corazon," the first two singles of which also reached #1 in the US and a dozen other countries.  In November 2007, GUERRA was honored as the 2007 Latin Recording Academy Person of the Year.  Chosen for his professional, cultural, and philanthropic accomplishments, GUERRA was honored at a star-studded tribute dinner, which was one of the most prestigious events during Latin Grammy week.  GUERRA was the leading winner of the 2007 Latin Grammy’s, sweeping the night with 5 Grammys: Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Best Merengue Album, Song of the Year, and Best Tropical Song. In 2008, GUERRA started off the year by winning a Gramy for Best Latin Tropical Album for "La Llave de Mi Corazón".  His success continued with two Premio Lo Nuestro wins for Male of the Year and Song of the Year with Mana. At the 2008 Latin Billboard Awards he added to his accolades by taking home the awards for Artist of the Year, Producer of the Year, and Tropical Album of the Year by a Duo or Group.  He was also nominated in four other categories. The tropical legend added sizzle to the summer with his highly anticipated La Travesiatour,his first major U.S. outing in over a decade.
