My Toys Like Me were formed by founder members Francis Noon and Lazlo Legezer….

Lazlo, producer and sound contortionist lives, breathes and dreams electronic sounds. His eccentric approach perfectly synthesizes 40 year old technology with current processing power to create not so much a wall of sound as a multi-layered construct of sound, with every harmonic hand crafted to ultimate effect.

Francis has a voice that is nothing short of mesmeric. There is undoubtedly a childlike quality to her vocals but it is more like an ethereal child from outer space; other-worldly and exotic. It will glide over you like velvet and transport you to another place. On stage Francis really comes into her own revealing a stage character that is captivating, kooky, sexy and sweet in equal measure.

All their songs are grown and developed organically, each musical construction emerging from its own unique journey. The band themselves have also evolved naturally and have grown into a kick ass four-piece band which now includes Charlie on bass and Alfie on electronic drums.
