| Having spent the better part of
a decade re-defining London nightlife alongside Erol Alkan at the
infamously legendary “Trash” (R.I.P) and brought mutant
disco to East London with “Our Disco.” Rory Phillips
has without a doubt, built a solid reputation for parties that innately
carve their own path while packing out the dance floor.
Continuing the tradition, Rory’s raucous headline slot at
Trash’s successor “Durrr,” and the joyful crate
digging of the “SAY YES” party, perfectly showcased
his diverse and ever evolving musical style.
These pedigrees of notably distinct parties have seen him draw crowds
from all across Europe, Asia and the USA. Rory has played alongside
the likes of 2ManyDJs, Optimo, The DFA, and Justice in addition
to recording a DJ session for the famous John Peel Show.
Most recently Rory has been concentrating on music production,
having been hand-picked to produce remixes for the likes Of Montreal,
The Gossip, Franz Ferdinand, Chromeo and Robyn. Taking on occasional
keyboard duties for Whitey and Kleerup’s live shows, he is
also currently working on releasing his own original material.
